Easyjet have just started flights to Granada airport from Gatwick and they are starting flights from Manchester to Granada in July, with a view to start flights from another UK. airport later in the year. Just which airport is unknown at the moment. Granada airport is a 30 minute drive from Los Bermejales which means it is less than half the journey time from Malaga airport. This saves so much time and Granada airport is small and very easy to use.
This park home is on a small gated site on the side of Lake Bermejales, Post code 18129 for those that use sat navs. This is a small site with properties situated on different plots and not sited in rows as some of these park home sites are.
There is a no letting policy on this site, but of course you are able to let family and friends use your home. There is a strict 2 pets per household rule on this site. There are no restrictions on children as there are on many sites of this nature.
Across the road from the site there is a camping site, with a restaurant and bar which is open all year round, there is also a swimming pool which is open in the warmer months.
The lake which is very popular for swimming, fishing, windsurfing and sailing ( no motor boats allowed) is approximately 50 metres from the property to the lake and there are picnic tables under the pine trees. There is also a small bar on the lakeside open in the summer months.
The village of Pantano is a 10 minute walk down the road, where you will find bar / restaurant. the nearest town is Alhama de Granada which is a 20 minute drive from Los Bermejales, where you will find many shops, banks, bars and restaurants and the town has a weekly market on a Friday.
If you want to go further a field, Granada with all it's attractions is a 45 minute drive away, the Sierra Neveda's for those that like to Ski is an hour away and the Costa Tropical is an hours drive away for all you beach lovers, as the advert's are always saying, you can ski in the mornings and lay on the beach in the afternoons! Because of the location of Lake Bermejales a car is a must, public transport is very limited with only one bus a day going into Granada.
